Lalo Cruces, (Ibercaja National Youth Painting Award)
With a degree from the School of Fine Arts in Zaragoza, I have always tried to create with a particular style and transmit a powerful message, which makes me a unique and easily recognizable artist.
With Art for LOVERS, my most recent work inspired by Renaissance art, I take a turn to critical sense to send an optimistic and hopeful message to the world. The signs, everyday elements often associated with indications or warnings, are surprisingly juxtaposed with cupids, universal symbols of love and desire. This juxtaposition creates a visual and conceptual tension that invites reflection and reminds us that love is a powerful force capable of overcoming any obstacle.
My Ibercaja National Youth Painting Award with the series Animals and my intervention in the Asian continent with the series Containerland marked a remarkable leap in my expansion and artistic growth, becoming the first European artist to hold a solo exhibition and be represented by the prestigious Fish Gallery (Taipei-Taiwan).
Throughout my professional career, I have had the opportunity to make sales of work and exhibitions in Europe, Asia, the United Kingdom, and Latin America.
Recently, I have worked on virtual art using Tilt Brush (Google) with the work “Goya, virtual caprice” for the IberCaja collection or at the Arco Madrid Fair with the work Shoes for the Government of Aragon.

I currently work on unique formats, circles, hexagons, or triangles to make my works unique and recognizable from the first moment. Urban themes predominate, from criticism of consumerism, globalization, and the accelerated pace of life. My most recent work focuses on traffic signs taken out of context, and after my trip to Sicily (Italy) and soaking up sacred/Renaissance art, the strength of Cupid as a fantastic character fascinated me and I decided to introduce it, creating a powerful and beautiful composition.
