Ginesta

This piece transports me to the beginning of June, when the Genista, or Ginesta in Catalan, begins to bloom. It signals the start of summer and the arrival of warmth. This piece conveys a powerful sense of luminosity and expansion. The intense yellows, with golden hues and dark earth tones, evoke the warmth of the sun and the vitality of the Mediterranean nature.
